SXU to host Theology on Tap speaker and discussion series

Series geared toward Catholics in their 20s and 30s begins Wed., July 11

Chicago (June 28, 2012) The Office for University Ministry will host Theology on Tap during July. Theology on Tap is a speaker and discussion series for Catholics in their 20s and 30s. This program originated in the Archdiocese of Chicago in 1981 and is now hosted at nearly 40 sites throughout the Archdiocese and in numerous other dioceses throughout the country. Theology on Tap sessions will be held on four consecutive Wednesday evenings, beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Wed., July 11 at in McDonough Chapel. The schedule of speakers and topics is as follows:

Wed., July 11 - "Why Should I Go to Church?" with Fr. John Cusick, Director of Young Adult Ministry, Archdiocese of Chicago

Wed., July 18 - "The God of Our Everyday Lives" with Kate DeVries, Associate Director of Young Adult Ministry, Archdiocese of Chicago

Wed., July 25 - "Young Adult Experience: Strategies for the Young Adult Years" with Rachel Caron, Pastoral Associate, St. Andrew Parish in Chicago

Wed., Aug. 1 - "Jesus: Is He the One or Shall We Look for Another?" with Graziano Marcheschi, Executive Director for University Ministry, Saint Xavier University
