WXAV to broadcast Windy City ThunderBolts 2011 season
Crestwood-based Frontier League team’s season begins May 19 on 88.3 FM
Chicago (April 27, 2011)Saint Xavier University’s student-run radio station, WXAV 88.3 FM, will broadcast the Windy City ThunderBolts baseball team’s 2011 season. Broadcasts of the Crestwood-based Frontier League’s games also will be available via the WXAV website.
WXAV will air 55 regular season games this year with SXU alumnus Terry Bonadonna ’10 as the play-by-play announcer. The ThunderBolts, who were 2007 and 2008 Frontier League Champions, open their season against the Lake Erie Crushers at 7:05 p.m. on May 19.
