Chicago (May 15, 2012) Saint Xavier
University celebrated its 2012 Spring Commencement on May 13 at the University’s Chicago campus, 3700 W. 103rd St., with more than 800 undergraduate and graduate students receiving diplomas.Founder and executive director of Mercy Beyond Borders Sr. Marilyn Lacey, RSM, gave the Undergraduate Commencement Speech, and UCLA School of Nursing, Medicine and Public Health Dean Courtney H. Lyder, N.D., G.N.P., F.A.A.N., gave the Graduate Commencement speech. Both speakers received honorary degrees.
