SXU appoints assistant vice president for recruitment, admission and enrollment planning

Anne O. Brennan begins Aug. 10

Saint Xavier University announced the appointment of Anne O. Brennan as assistant vice president for recruitment, admission and enrollment planning. Brennan will begin Aug. 10.

Brennan, who was selected after a national search, will be responsible for managing recruitment and enrollment. She will report to Vice President for Student Recruitment and Enrollment Planning Kathleen Carlson, Ph.D.

“Ms. Brennan’s extensive background in higher education administration at other outstanding institutions will help more students experience Saint Xavier’s unique community as it receives greater recognition as a leading comprehensive Catholic university,” said Carlson.

Brennan, of Evergreen Park, has more than 25 years of experience in many areas of university administration, most recently as director of community college partnerships at DePaul University. She previously was assistant dean at DePaul’s School of Computer Science, Telecommunications and Information Systems, director of admissions at School of the Art Institute of Chicago and associate director of admissions at University of Southern California.

“I am honored to join Saint Xavier’s staff and eager to contribute to the University’s goal of helping students get access to the high-quality educations they need in the modern world,” Brennan said.

Brennan has a master’s degree in communications from DePaul University and a bachelor’s degree in education from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale.
