SXU to host 14th Annual Chicago Campus Job Fair on Feb. 14

Free "How to Work a Job Fair" workshops on Feb. 9, 10 and 13

Chicago (Jan. 31, 2011) Saint Xavier University invites the community to network with employers at its 14th Annual Chicago Campus Job Fair from noon to 3 p.m. on Tues., Feb. 14 at the Shannon Center, located at 3700 W. 103rd St.

The fair is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring resumes and to dress professionally.

Employers scheduled to attend the fair include: Angels at Home Healthcare, Fastenal Co., Franciscan Outreach, Franciscan St. James Health, Grand Prairie Services, Imagetec LP, Ingalls Memorial Hospital, Jewel-Osco, Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, Mercy Volunteer Corps, Moraine Valley Community College, Palos Community Hospital, Speedway LLC, Standard Bank & Trust, TCF Bank, United States Secret Service, U.S. Army Health Care Recruiting, and Waddell & Reed, Inc.

SXU Counseling and Career Services will host three “How to Work a Job Fair” workshops. The workshops are free and open to the public, and registration is not required. Attendees will learn networking skills, interview techniques, and how to make a great first impression at a job fair. Workshops are scheduled for: 3 p.m. on Thurs., Feb. 9; noon on Fri., Feb. 10; and 3 p.m. on Mon., Feb. 13. All three workshops will be held in the Career Services Modular Unit behind Pacelli Hall.
