Sr. Joy Clough, R.S.M. to give Theology South lecture on Feb. 4 at SXU
“Imagine That! Scriptures and Stories” will focus on Jesus’ human qualities in the Gospel
Chicago (Jan. 13, 2010) Sr. Joy Clough, R.S.M., will discuss Gospel stories about Jesus at the next Theology South lecture at 9:30 a.m. Thurs., Feb. 4 in Warde Academic Center’s Butler Reception Room at Saint Xavier University’s Chicago campus, 3700 W. 103rd St.
Her lecture, “Imagine That! Scriptures and Stories,” is an imaginative exploration of select gospel stories about Jesus and His encounters with others, portraying the human qualities of Jesus emphasized by Saint Paul.
The presentation is open to the public and admission is $6. Coffee will be served at 9 a.m.
