Saint Xavier holds annual Summer Concert on June 28

Performance by Roy Vombrack Orchestra

Chicago (May 26, 2009) Saint Xavier University invites the community to its annual free outdoor Summer Concert at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 28, on the front lawn of the Chicago campus at 3700 W. 103rd St.

The Roy Vombrack Orchestra, from the Orchestra 33 entertainment group, will perform crowd-pleasing favorites for listening and dancing. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display at approximately 9:45 p.m.

The concert is free and open to the public, and picnickers are welcome. Refreshments will be available for purchase from The Original Rainbow Cone, Gilhooley’s Grande Saloon, Tastee Freez, Cougar Pause and the SXU Alumni Board.
