SXU Gallery hosts exhibit of selections from University's permanent collection

Includes works by Andy Warhol, Arthur Secunda, Antonio Clave and Elzbieta Sikorska

Chicago (Nov. 17, 2010) The SXU Gallery will host the exhibit “Selections from the University’s Permanent Collection” from now through Sat., Dec. 4.

The exhibit has more than twenty pieces from well-known artists. These works include a silkscreen print by Andy Warhol, two lithographs by Arthur Secunda, a work by Antonio Clave, and a painting by Elzbieta Sikorska.

The exhibit also includes pieces by several Sisters of Mercy, including Sister Edward Mary and Sister Linea Frei, and works from graduates of SXU's Department of Art and Design.

The SXU Gallery is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from noon to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., and on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The gallery is closed from Wed., Nov. 24 through Sun., Nov. 28.
