SXU School of Nursing students go to Springfield

A group of 35 Saint Xavier University School of Nursing students attended the annual Student Nurse Lobby Day in Springfield, Ill. on April 9, 2008.

The annual event, sponsored by the Illinois Nurses Association, was created to educate student nurses on current issues in health policy and how to be a health policy advocate. Students had an opportunity to march to the Capitol following the program to visit with their members of the Illinois House and Senate. The Saint Xavier students joined more 1,100 nursing students from around the state.
