Reception to honor SXU’s Department of Art and Design

“Taste of the Arts” is April 22 at the Visual Arts Center

Chicago (April 9, 2010) Saint Xavier University’s Office of Alumni and Parent Relations is hosting a reception to honor the Department of Art and Design from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thurs., April 22 at the Visual Arts Center, 10435 S. Spaulding, Chicago.

The reception, “Taste of the Arts,” is a unique opportunity to experience the talent of SXU’s senior artists and see a tour of the new art building.

Refreshments will be served, including an assortment of wine, hors d’oeuvres and an international coffee dessert bar. Music will be provided by SXU student and pianist Malcolm Lee.

Due to limited parking space, guests are asked to meet at the Warde Academic Center for shuttle service to the Visual Arts Center. Admission is $20 per person, and tickets are limited. A portion of the admission fee will be donated to support student scholarships.
