SXU hosts 12th Annual Job Fair on March 30

20 employers scheduled to attend fair

Chicago (March 10, 2010) Saint Xavier University invites the community to network with employers at its 12th Annual Job Fair from noon to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30 at the Chicago campus’ Shannon Center, 3700 W. 103rd St.

The Job Fair is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring resumes and to dress professionally.

SXU Counseling and Career Services also will host two “How to Work a Job Fair” seminars, which are free and open to the public. The first session is at 3 p.m. on Fri., March 26 in the Student Lounge and the second is at noon on Mon., March 29 in the Mercy Ministry Center.

Employers scheduled to attend the fair include: the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Cardinal Fitness, the Chicago Police Department, Grand Prairie Services, Ingalls Memorial Hospital, Maria High School, Metropolitan Water Reclamation District – Chicago, Norwegian American Hospital, Palos Community Hospital, Perspectives Charter Schools, Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center, Sinai Health Systems, St. James Hospital and Health Centers, Standard Bank & Trust Co., TCF Bank, Thornton Township High School District 205, the U.S. Secret Service, U.S. Marine Corps Officer Program and the U.S. Navy.
