Concert scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Fri., March 26 at Chicago campus
Chicago (March 15, 2010) Saint Xavier University’s Guitar Ensemble and Jazz Combo Spring Concert is scheduled to take place at 7:30 p.m. Fri., March 26 in McGuire Hall at the Chicago campus, 3700 W. 103rd St.
The event is open to the public and general admission is $6. Admission for seniors and visiting students is $5 and free for all Saint Xavier students, faculty and staff with a valid ID.
The Guitar Ensemble will perform works by J.S. Bach, Handel, Paganini, Pleyel and others. The Jazz Combo will perform selections by Dietz and Schwartz, Joseph Kosma, Lee Morgan and Charlie Parker.
