SXU art department hosts “Fresh Produce” exhibit

Exhibit runs through Nov. 2

Chicago (Oct. 15, 2010) Saint Xavier University’s Department of Art & Design is hosting a midterm art exhibit of the best student work from the first half of this semester. The exhibit, which is free and open to the public, is titled “Fresh Produce,” as the gallery exhibits the “just ripened” nature of the students’ projects.

Students of all levels contributed pieces from courses including Photo I, Computer Graphics, Digital Imagery, Painting I, Graphic Design, Ceramics and more.

The exhibit is currently on display in the Visual Arts Center Gallery, 10435 S. Spaulding Ave., until Tues., Nov. 2. The Gallery is open Mondays through Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Visitor parking is available and shuttle buses are available to the VAC from the Chicago campus, located at 3700 W. 103rd St.
