SXU Chamber Orchestra to perform

Joining University Chorale, Chamber Singers on May 2

Chicago (April 18, 2008) The Saint Xavier University Chamber Orchestra will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 2 in SXU’s old gymnasium located in the Warde Academic Center, 3700 W. 103rd St., Chicago.

The Chamber Orchestra will join the SXU University Chorale and Chamber Singers to present American composer Howard Hanson’s “Song of Democracy.” It will be their final concert of the 2007-08 school year and will be conducted by Director of Instrumental Ensembles Alicia Neal, D.M.

The concert is open to the public. Admission is $6 for adults and $5 for seniors and visiting students. Admission is free for all Saint Xavier students, faculty and staff with a valid University ID.
