Saint Xavier University signs Concentration Articulation Agreement with College of DuPage

Provides smooth credit transfer for students seeking SXU bachelor’s degree

Chicago (Nov. 5, 2008) In an Oct. 22 ceremony on the SXU Orland Park Campus, SXU Provost Angela Durante, Ph.D., and Dupage Interim Executive Dean of Academic Affairs Joseph Collins, Ph.D., signed an articulation agreement to provide a seamless transfer experience for students between the two schools.

Saint Xavier University will accept students from the College of DuPage who have earned an Associate in Arts degree or the Associates in Applied Science or equivalent credit hours. College of DuPage students will enter Saint Xavier University with junior status in order to pursue the Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Studies in Organizational Behavior from the School for Continuing and Professional Studies. The accelerated program allows students to complete courses within an 18-month period from admission.

“In addition to allowing students to more easily transfer schools, this cooperative relationship will provide students with access to both institutions’ services and activities and build on community college and University learning experiences,” said Durante. “We look forward to this enhanced relationship with College of Dupage that will benefit our students.”
