SXU Symphonic Orchestra performs Beethoven's Symphony No. 6 in F major (Op. 68), Verdi's Overture to La Forza del Destino and others

Chicago (Nov. 13, 2008) The Saint Xavier University Symphonic Orchestra will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21 at the Rehearsal Performance Space in the Warde Academic Center at SXU’s Chicago campus, 3700 W. 103rd St.

The ensemble will perform Beethoven's Symphony No. 6 in F major (Op. 68), Verdi's Overture to La Forza del Destino, Grainger's Mock Morris, and Sullivan's Overture to the HMS Pinafore. SXU music professor Margaret Young-Weitzel will conduct the performance.

General admission is $6 and $5 for seniors and visiting students. SXU students, faculty and staff can attend for free with a valid university ID. For more information, please contact Annette Adamus at (773) 298-3421.
