3 p.m. Sun., Dec. 6 at Chicago campus
Chicago (Nov. 30, 2009) Saint Xavier University will showcase the Jazz Ensemble in its Winter Concert at 3 p.m. on Sun., Dec. 6 in McGuire Hall at the Chicago campus, 3700 W. 103rd St.
The event is open to the public. General admission is $6, and $5 for seniors and visiting students. The concert is free for Saint Xavier student, faculty and staff with valid I.D.
The Ensemble will perform works by Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Frank Foster, Lionel Hampton, Charles Mingus, Thelonious Monk, Charlie Parker, Tito Puente, Sonny Rollins, Mongo Santamaria and others.
