The WBEZ 91.5 FM radio program “8:48” is expected to run a story Wednesday, April 15 at 9 a.m. and again at 8 p.m. about the Saint Xavier School of Nursing’s “Reminiscing Project.”Student nurses visited the assisted living facility Smith Village last week to conduct “timeline interviews” in which residents were asked to discuss various periods of their lives, particularly times which corresponded to major historical events such as World War II, Sputnik and Vietnam.
SXU School of Nursing Professors Peggy Gallagher and Suzanne Kimble designed and coordinated the interview project.
