Saint Xavier University one of two hosts for the 8th Annual Chicago Palestine Film Festival


Selection of films to be shown April 13, 15 and 17

Saint Xavier University will be one of two venues for the 8th Annual Chicago Palestine Film Festival. The majority of the screenings will be held at the Gene Siskel Film Center, located at 164 N. State St. A selection of films will also be screened for free at Saint Xavier at 3700 W. 103rd Street in Chicago on April 13, 15, and 17 from 7:00-9:00 PM.

The Chicago Palestine Film Festival (CPFF) is an independent, not-for-profit, nonsectarian project based in Chicago that exhibits and promotes films by Palestinian directors and films about Palestine.

“I am so pleased Saint Xavier is once again one of the hosts of this important film festival,” said Iman Saca, assistant professor of Sociology and Anthropology and director of the SXU Middle Eastern Studies Program. “We hope everyone is able to attend this excellent event.”
